Privacy Policy

What this app does

Stay90 is a personal Schengen 90/180-day calculator. It helps visa-free travelers log their past and future Schengen trips, understand their current day count within the rolling 180-day window, and plan future trips without exceeding the 90-day limit. Trip planning works offline on your device.

Anonymous usage analytics

To understand how the app is used and where to improve it, Stay90 collects a small amount of anonymous product-usage data through PostHog, our analytics provider. This is limited to coarse interaction events such as opening the app, adding a trip, opening the planner, and viewing or completing the Pro purchase.

These events are not tied to your name, email address, or an account. They never include your trip dates, destinations, labels, or other travel details. We do not create personal profiles, use advertising identifiers, or track you across other apps or websites.

PostHog derives an approximate country and first-level region from the network request for aggregate geographic analysis. We discard the raw IP address and remove city, postal code, coordinates, timezone, and lower-level location details before the event is stored.

Analytics is on by default but entirely optional. You can turn it off at any time under Settings → Privacy, and no usage data is sent while it is off.

If you installed Stay90 after interacting with an Apple Ads campaign, Apple may provide non-personal attribution information such as the campaign, ad group, keyword, placement, country or region, and whether the conversion was a download or redownload. We use this information only to measure which Apple Ads campaigns lead to useful app interactions and purchases. Stay90 does not retain or send the Apple attribution token, does not access IDFA, and does not request permission to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Data we collect

Beyond the anonymous analytics above, we collect nothing from your trips. Your trip dates and labels are stored locally and are never sent to Ampliora.

When you buy or restore Stay90 Pro, the app contacts Apple's App Store through StoreKit to load product details and confirm your purchase. That communication is between your device and Apple; we only receive a non-financial confirmation that a purchase was made.

Data stored on your device

Stay90 stores the following data locally in your device's app container, accessible only to the app:

• Trip arrival and departure dates
• Optional trip labels you enter (for example "Paris holiday")
• App settings and notification preferences
• A non-personal Apple Ads attribution result, when applicable

This trip data never leaves your device. We have no access to it, and it is never included in the anonymous analytics described above.

Backups

If iCloud Backup is enabled on your device, Apple may include your app data in your encrypted device backup. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to your iCloud backup.

In-app purchases

Stay90 offers an optional one-time unlock ("Stay90 Pro") processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of payment data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We only receive a confirmation from Apple that a purchase was made, containing no personal or financial information.

Notifications

If you enable the 80-day warning, Stay90 schedules a local notification on your device. No notification data is sent to us or any third party.

Third-party links

Stay90 includes links to the official EU Short-Stay Calculator and EU Entry/Exit System pages for reference. Tapping these links opens your browser and is subject to the privacy practices of those sites. We do not track which links you tap.

Children's privacy

Stay90 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
